Get in the Spirit

Sleigh Bells Ring, Are You Listening? Yes, Boston gets in the spirit.

New Yorkers have the lights on Madison Avenue and Rockefeller Center skating. But it is possible to get holiday spirit right here. We swear.

  1. Lace up: Head to “Boston Winter” at City Hall Plaza for some skating and other fun. High on Jill’s list this year.

  2. Window shop: See all the ways independent shops are getting creative with windows. Try Charles Street in Beacon Hill. Of course, we’re partial to our neck of the woods. Stop in and see our new windows and say hi.

  3. Festive Friday: Been to SoWa First Fridays yet? On the First Friday of every month, the artists, galleries, shops & restaurants of the SoWa Art + Design District open their doors to the public for an evening of art, culture and inspiration.

  4. Cookie Swap: Flour Bakery does an annual cookie swap to benefit Room to Grow.

  5. Teddy Tea: Bring your best bear (or dog) for the Teddy Bear Tea at the Taj.

And of course, don’t miss the South End Stroll on Wednesday 12/6. We’ll be waiting with spiked cocoa + bells on.
