Trade secrets just learned that the very first customer to make it into Hudson, the hot new home décor store in the South End, was a neighbor around the block who bought a fleece baby throw for a New York girlfriend. “It looks hip enough for her and her New York style,” he said. The founder of Hudson is Jill Goldberg, daughter of Barbara Goldberg of Mitchell and Gold and Bob Williams showroom in the Design District.
